Learning graphic design?  Want some work?

What we're looking for . . .
We're currently looking for someone who is actively developing their skills as a graphic designer.

A design student would be perfect, although we're open to anyone who is consistently learning graphic design for the purpose of working in that field. If you are already learning, or teaching yourself, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign then we'd like to hear from you. We often have some basic designing or editing jobs that don't require a professional but do require someone with at least basic skills.

We need designers because we;
- Build websites
- Supply printed materials (business cards, flyers, etc)
- Set up email signatures and profile images
- Create banner ads and other web graphics
- And pretty much anything else we're asked to do

If you've come this far chances are that you're already in the process of building your graphic design skill set. Why not keep doing what you're doing but make a little money too? It's win-win really. You get some payment for work and research that you'd likely be doing anyway. While we get someone to help with basic design work at a lower cost than a professional. We are always fair with our payments and will discuss this further with any applicant we contact.

You'll also get the chance, all things going well, to interact with our clients and see for yourself the opportunities and challenges that arise when dealing with customers. This can be especially challenging in a creative industry.

Oh and did I mention we are a technology company? We've worked with quite a few novice graphic designers and are happy to lend a hand when it comes to the more technical side of things like computer and software issues. We're nerds, not artists. That's why we need graphic designers. That's why we might need you.

Adobe photoshop illustrator and in design iconsSkills you must have;
- Intermediate or good Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign skills
- Basic computer skills
- Good phone manner and communication

You'll also need;
- A mobile phone (we may ask you to call clients to go over projects. An unlimited plan, or at least a lot of free calls per month, would be preferred)
- A computer (of course)
- Reliable home internet

Though not a deal-breaker, we would love it even more if you have;
- An ABN
- Good or very good computer skills
- Experience setting up for print jobs
- A vehicle

If this sounds like something you could take advantage of please fill out the form at the end of this post.

(Please no Facebook messages or posts. We will contact you ASAP if we think it's a good fit. Thanks.
