SABB Audio Guide

January 2026

Volume is capped by the system. Adjust freely on iPads — you can’t go too loud.

How to Play Music

Main Venue

Wi-Fi: SABB AV
Use: Bar iPad
Account: iot@sabb.com.au
1
Open Spotify on the bar iPad
2
Tap the Devices icon (bottom of Now Playing screen)
3
Select “WiiM – Main Venue” from the list
4
Play music and adjust volume with the Spotify slider

AirPlay and Chromecast also work — just select “WiiM – Main Venue”.

Birdcage

Wi-Fi: SABB AV – Birdcage
Use: Staff phone or tablet
Account: iot2@sabb.com.au

Two speaker zones: “Birdcage – Bar” and “WiiM Birdcage – Back Stables”

1
Connect your phone to SABB AV – Birdcage Wi-Fi
2
Open Spotify and tap the Devices icon
3
Select “Birdcage – Bar” or “WiiM Birdcage – Back Stables” (or both)
4
Play music and adjust volume with the Spotify slider

To balance Bar vs Stables volume separately, use the WiiM Home app.

Guest Functions (Birdcage)

Guests connect to SABB Guest AV – Birdcage Wi-Fi (get password from Management) and stream from their own phone. Same volume limits apply.

Microphone Audio

The wireless microphone receiver is connected to the WiiM Amp in the Back Stables via Line In. Use the WiiM Home app on the iPad to manage microphone audio.

Important: You must unlink the speakers before switching to microphone input, then re-link if you want mics on both zones.

Back Stables Only

1
Open the WiiM Home app on the iPad
2
Tap Devices at the top of the screen
3
Tap the Link button on Back Stables, untick Birdcage, and tap Save
4
Tap to select (highlight) “WiiM Birdcage – Back Stables”
5
Tap Browse and select “Line In” as the source

Microphones are now playing through Back Stables speakers

Back Stables + Birdcage

After completing the steps above to get mics on Back Stables:

6
Go to Devices and tap the Link button on Back Stables
7
Tick “Birdcage – Bar” and tap Save

Microphones are now playing through both Back Stables and Birdcage speakers

To switch back to music, go to Browse on Back Stables and select Spotify (or your preferred source) instead of Line In.

Not Working?

No sound? Check the right speaker is selected in Spotify. Check Wi-Fi. Restart the app.

Can’t see the speaker? You’re on the wrong Wi-Fi. Main Venue = “SABB AV”. Birdcage = “SABB AV – Birdcage”.

Too quiet at max volume? That’s the venue limit — it’s meant to be that way.

Mics not working? Make sure Back Stables is set to Line In (not Spotify) in the WiiM Home app. Check that speakers are unlinked before changing input, then re-link after.
