Current Situation

The property has FTTP (Fibre to the Premises) internet service delivering 500/50 Mbps speeds to the front room. WiFi signal strength drops significantly toward the rear of the house, creating dead zones and connectivity issues for devices in those areas.

Mesh Network System

Quote is to supply and install a TP-Link Deco X50 AX3000 WiFi 6 Mesh System (3-Pack) to eliminate WiFi dead zones throughout the property. The Deco X50 replaces the existing Optus router and creates a seamless whole-home mesh network with automatic device handoff between units.

The Deco X50 features WiFi 6 (802.11ax) technology delivering combined speeds up to 3.0 Gbps. The three-unit system provides coverage up to 600m² (6,500 sq.ft.) and supports over 150 connected devices simultaneously. Management is via the Deco mobile app for easy configuration and network monitoring.

Installation Scope

Installation includes professional configuration of all three Deco mesh units for optimal coverage throughout the property. The primary unit connects to the existing FTTP service in the front room. Secondary units are positioned strategically to extend coverage to the rear of the house and any other previously affected areas. Installation includes migration of existing network settings (SSID, password), connection testing on multiple devices, and a walkthrough to confirm full coverage in all areas including previously problematic zones.
