Rooftop Cable Management Remediation

What Was Found

Cabling has been moved from its original secured position and is now loose along the concrete wall, creating a significant tripping hazard. This appears to have been caused by roof repairs in the past. Proper cable clips and management are required to secure all loose cabling and eliminate this safety risk.

Current Condition

Work Included

  • Professional cable clips installed along concrete wall
  • Secure mounting of all loose cabling
  • Safety compliance ensuring no tripping hazards remain
  • Clean professional appearance with organized cable runs

Cable Decommissioning

Redundant Cable Removal

A second cable on the rooftop is no longer required and requires safe decommissioning. This cable currently carries 48V (low voltage) and requires proper shutdown procedures before securing.

Work Process

  • Access to locked room required for safe power-down procedures
  • Safe disconnection of 48V power supply
  • Tape and secure decommissioned cable ends
  • Professional documentation of decommissioned cabling

Ground Floor WiFi Receiver Removal

Obsolete Equipment Cleanup

The Ubiquiti WiFi receiver on the ground floor used to receive signal from the rooftop but has been redundant since your upgrade to a dedicated NBN connection. Clean removal of this obsolete equipment and tidying of all associated cabling is included.
