NBN Fibre Progress
What’s Done
Internal fibre routing is complete. We found a neat path coming up from underneath the house through a void where an air duct used to be, running all the way to your AV hub. Much tidier than the original planned route.
What’s Pending
NBN’s civil team needs to connect the fibre from the street pit to the house. The pit couldn’t be located on the day, so this has been escalated. This is a common issue – once the civil team completes their work, the internal fibre is ready to be connected and you’ll be up and running.

Internet Options
Option 1: Stay with Telstra
Once NBN’s civil team completes the pit connection, you arrange activation with Telstra. We can be there to commission the equipment and get your Eero WiFi configured properly.
Option 2: Switch to Aussie Broadband
We’re an Aussie Broadband enterprise reseller, which means we can handle the activation once the civil work is complete. The 500/50 Unlimited plan is $110/month and includes enterprise priority support – faster response times and priority speeds during busy periods. Aussie Broadband also supply and support Eero WiFi systems, so your existing Eero units are a great match.

- Let us know if you’d like to stay with Telstra or switch to Aussie Broadband once the civil work is complete
- Confirm you’re happy with the Yamaha RX-V6A recommendation and we’ll get pricing sorted
- Temporary setup still available: Connect to Williamson_EXT WiFi and look for “Denon” in Spotify
