Summary

Following the recent upgrade from NBN fttn to fttp, the existing VDSL modem is no longer compatible with the new fibre connection. A loan router has been installed as a temporary solution; however, it is limited to 100Mbps and cannot deliver the full 500/50Mbps speeds available on the current plan.

This quote is to supply and install an Omada gigabit gateway to replace the loan router and unlock the full fttp speeds. An Omada router is recommended because there is an existing outdoor Omada WiFi access point on site. Using an Omada router allows both devices to be managed together through the Omada controller, with the outdoor access point adopted into the system.

Note: The outdoor access point currently faces the neighbouring property.
