NBN will install the fibre connection with the fibre box on the outside of the garage and the NTD (the box your router connects to) inside the garage wall next to the door. Note: There’s no power point at this location — you’d need an electrician unless you choose the conduit option below.
Your existing cable is set up for your old VDSL connection. We’ll convert it to work with the new fibre, connecting the NTD to your Hills Home Hub in the garage.
Your home has great data cabling infrastructure already installed. We’ll reconfigure the hub to work with your new fibre connection and power all the WiFi access points.
We’ll install 3 x TP-Link EAP615-Wall access points throughout your home using your existing data cabling. These sit flush in the wall plate — neat and unobtrusive.

Each access point gives you strong WiFi coverage plus 3 Ethernet ports right there on the wall — perfect for plugging in your TV, gaming console, or printer without running extra cables.
This compact switch powers all your access points through the data cables — no extra power points needed at each location.

Silent operation (no fan) and small enough to tuck away in the hub.
The ER605W acts as the brains of your network — it manages your internet connection and keeps everything running smoothly. Built-in WiFi in the garage area as a bonus.

We can manage and monitor your entire network remotely, so if anything needs adjusting we can often fix it without a site visit.
Note: The wall-plate access points are ideal for smaller areas and give you the bonus of hardwiring up to 3 devices each. We’ll bring some ceiling-mount access points on the day just in case you need extra range in larger spaces.
