The TP-Link TL-SG1005P is a compact 5-port Gigabit switch with 4 PoE+ ports, perfect for powering IP cameras, access points, VoIP phones, and other PoE devices without running separate power cables.
With a total PoE budget of 65W and up to 30W per port, this switch handles most small business and home network requirements. The intelligent power management ensures high-priority devices stay powered even under load, automatically cutting lower-priority ports if the total consumption exceeds the budget.
The TL-SG1005P supports both IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at (PoE+) standards, making it compatible with a wide range of powered devices. Built-in QoS prioritises voice and video traffic for lag-free calls and smooth streaming, while IGMP Snooping optimises multicast traffic for IPTV applications.
Extend Mode pushes PoE power delivery up to 250 metres over Cat5e cable at reduced speeds, useful for running cameras or access points across larger properties. The PoE Auto Recovery feature automatically reboots unresponsive PoE devices, reducing the need for manual intervention.
The fanless metal casing keeps things quiet and runs cool, with a desktop or wall-mount design that fits just about anywhere. Plug and play operation means no configuration required—just connect your devices and go.
