Description
Overview
The TP-Link Omada EAP215-Bridge KIT is a preconfigured wireless bridge solution designed to extend network connectivity across distances up to 5 kilometres. This kit includes two matching bridge units that pair automatically out of the box — simply power them up and they connect to each other without any complex configuration required.
Ideal for connecting remote buildings, sheds, or surveillance systems where running cable isn’t practical, the EAP215-Bridge delivers reliable 867 Mbps Wi-Fi 5 performance on the 5 GHz band. With three Gigabit Ethernet ports on each unit, you can connect multiple cameras or devices at each end without needing an additional switch.
Built to withstand Australian conditions, the EAP215-Bridge features IP65 weatherproof enclosures and operates in temperatures from -40°C to 70°C. With 6 kV lightning protection built in, it’s designed for reliable outdoor deployment on farms, construction sites, commercial properties, and anywhere else you need to bridge a network gap.
Key Features
The EAP215-Bridge KIT arrives preconfigured and ready to pair. Power up both units and they automatically establish a connection — no portal login, no complex setup. For multi-site deployments, the Point-to-Multipoint mode supports connecting up to four client bridges to a single main unit, making it perfect for properties with multiple outbuildings or camera locations.
The Omada app provides guided alignment tools that make positioning the bridges straightforward, even over long distances. LED signal indicators on each unit show connection strength, and the built-in speed test lets you verify performance immediately after installation.
Each bridge unit includes three Gigabit Ethernet ports, allowing you to connect IP cameras, access points, or other network devices directly without requiring a separate switch. Power options are flexible too — the units accept 802.3af PoE, 24V passive PoE (adapter included), or 12V DC input, making them compatible with solar power systems for truly remote installations.

Applications
The EAP215-Bridge KIT excels in scenarios where running cable is impractical or cost-prohibitive. Farms, orchards and rural properties can connect sheds, barns, or remote paddock cameras back to the main network. Construction sites benefit from temporary, relocatable connectivity to site offices or security camera systems.
Commercial properties use these bridges to link parking lots, outbuildings, or secondary premises to the main network. Schools and aged care facilities can extend coverage across multiple buildings on campus. For CCTV installations, the three Ethernet ports on each unit mean you can connect several cameras at a remote location and backhaul everything wirelessly.
With Omada SDN integration, the bridges can be managed alongside other Omada switches, routers, and access points through a single controller — whether that’s a hardware appliance, software installation, or cloud-based management.
What’s in the Box
The EAP215-Bridge KIT includes two complete bridge units ready for deployment: two EAP215-Bridge access points, two passive PoE adapters, two sets of pole mounting hardware, and an installation guide. Each unit arrives preconfigured to pair with its partner, so no initial setup is required.
