⚡ Getting Started
Setup Steps:
- Download the App: Get Omada Guard from the App Store or Google Play
- Create Account: Sign up for a free TP-Link ID in the app
- Let Us Know: Tell us the email address you used and confirm the app is running
- Accept Invite: We’ll send you an invitation – accept it and your cameras will appear

🎥 Additional Camera – Front of Garage
Customer has requested an additional camera on the front of the garage. Cable can run under the house from the switch in the kitchen, under the front deck, and out through the garden bed. Let us know if you’d like to proceed.
📡 WiFi Integration
Your existing WiFi system runs on the same Omada platform as your CCTV. We recommend migrating your WiFi devices to the same Omada site – this means you (and we) can manage both CCTV and WiFi from a single login.

Catch up onsite for a walkthrough of how to enable/disable features like the LED light, active deterrence scheduling, two-way audio, and other settings.
📱 Phone App
Your CCTV system is controlled via the Omada Guard app. Once you accept our email invitation, your cameras will automatically appear in the app.
💡 Tip: Always tap the quality icon in the app viewer to switch from SD to HD for the best picture clarity.

🎤 Two-Way Talk
🌙 Full Color Night Vision
Active Deterrence: Triggers the camera’s built-in light and siren manually. Can also be set on a schedule (e.g. when you’re away).
Two-Way Talk: Speak directly through the camera to visitors or intruders from anywhere in the world.
💡 Full Color Night Vision: Your cameras have a small LED light that provides full color recording at night (instead of grainy black & white). It triggers automatically on motion but can be disabled in settings if preferred.
👥 Share With Others
You can give family members access to view the cameras. Each person should use their own TP-Link account so you don’t log each other out.
- Have them create their own free TP-Link ID
- Log in to the web portal and go to Admin > User Management
- Add their email and choose “Admin” or “Viewer”
💻 View on Computer
For a bigger view of all cameras at once, use the web portal on your laptop or desktop.
Click the Events tab to see a list of all motion events.
