Solution 6000 Alarm Keypad

The property is protected by a monitored alarm system. Follow the instructions below to manage PIN codes.

🔄 Changing Guest PIN Code (On-Site Method):

  1. 1 › Type in guest code and press “OK”, then press “MENU”
  2. 2 › Using the arrow keys, select “Access” then “PIN Codes”
  3. 3 › Select “Change own PIN”
  4. 4 › Type in new pin, then press “OK”
  5. 5 › Type in pin again, then press “OK” to confirm it
  6. 6 › To exit the menu, keep pressing “MENU” until you have “Exit” selected, then press “OK”
  7. 7 › Note: In the PIN code menu (steps 1-2), you can also set up new PINs, delete PINs, or change other PIN codes

💻 Remote PIN Changes: Can be done by Straight Forward Technology for a fee. Contact support for remote assistance.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Semi-permanent PIN codes (cleaners, trades) should NEVER be given to guests. All PIN code activity is logged in the system for tracking who has accessed the property and when.

📱 iFob Control App
iFob Control App

The iFob Control app allows authorized users to control the alarm system from their phone.

📲 Features: Arm/disarm the alarm remotely, receive alerts if the alarm is triggered

🔐 Setup: Only Straight Forward Technology can set up new users. Contact them to request access.

👥 Property Mums Staff: May want this app on their phones for checking if the place is armed/disarmed, or to be alerted of any security concerns in the area.

⚙️ Technical Information (iFob)

User permissions can be configured for basic arm/disarm only or full alert notifications

📞 Intercom System

The property features Dahua intercom systems at both the front gate and front door, managed through the DMSS app.

📱 Indoor Monitor: DMSS is running on the iPad mounted to the wall near the kitchen for easy access to answer the intercom and open the gate.

📍 Intercom Locations:

  • 🚪 Front Gate Intercom – Can remotely open the gate via indoor tablet or DMSS app
  • 🏠 Front Door Intercom – Video intercom for visitor communication

📱 DMSS App Features:

  • View live video from intercoms
  • Two-way audio communication with visitors
  • Remote gate opening from anywhere
  • Motion detection alerts

👥 Property Mums Staff: Contact Straight Forward Group to have DMSS set up on your phone for remote property management.

🚪 Smart Locks & Keypads (TTLock System)

All smart locks and keypads use the TTLock app. Straight Forward Technology and Property Mums have full remote access to change PIN codes.

📍 TTLock Devices:

  • 🚪 Front Door Smart Lock – Main entry to the house
  • 🔓 Front Gate Keypad (Open) – To open the front gate
  • 🔒 Front Gate Keypad (Close) – To close the front gate

🌐 Internet Connectivity: Each TTLock device has a gateway connected to the internet that allows remote functions (PIN changes, remote unlock, activity logging, etc.)

📡 Gateway Locations:
• POE Gateway at front gate
• WiFi Gateway in bedroom nearest front door

Note: Without these gateways, remote PIN changes and monitoring are not possible

🔑 Keys & Key Management

⚠️ CRITICAL SAFETY REQUIREMENT ⚠️

It is IMPERATIVE that backup physical keys are available to guests in an emergency.
DO NOT rely on electronics only like the front door smart lock.

TTLock Key Safe

🔑 Primary Key Safe (Internal – TTLock)

  • 📍 Location: Next to the alarm keypad
  • 🔐 Access: PIN code (changed after each guest)
  • 🗝️ Contents: Keys for various doors and windows throughout the property

✅ RECOMMENDED: A copy of the front door key should be kept in this key safe. Guests should be instructed to take this key with them whenever they leave the property to ensure they can always get back in.

🔐 Emergency Key Safe (External – Non-TTLock)

  • 📍 Location: Hidden around the corner (trades-only access)
  • 🚨 Purpose: Emergency access only
  • 🗝️ Recommended Contents: Spare set of front door keys and another door key for emergencies

📋 Key Management Best Practices:

  • All backup keys should be clearly labeled
  • Keys should be accounted for after each guest departure
  • Front door smart lock has a physical key backup – ensure this is always accessible
  • Contact Property Mums if any keys are missing or if gate key is needed

If experiencing internet issues, Straight Forward Technology can remotely reboot devices and diagnose problems.
