360Q uses music streamers for wireless audio playback throughout the venue.

🎧 Music Streamers Overview

🎶 2 x Music Streamers: Available as inputs 3 and 4 on wall controls

🌐 Network: Both connect to “360Q Staff WiFi”

📱 Spotify Account Type: Spotify Family Plan – each device needs its own Spotify login

🎵 Other Apps: Also works with YouTube Music, Apple Music, Tidal, Amazon Music, etc. via AirPlay AirPlay icon or Chromecast Cast icon

📱 How to Play Music
  1. 1️⃣ Connect to Wi-Fi: Ensure your device is on “360Q Staff WiFi”
  2. 2️⃣ Open Music App: Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music, etc.
  3. 3️⃣ Select Output Device:

OK, here’s where it gets tricky because every phone is different! But we’ll help you find it…

    • iPhone/iPad users:
      • Spotify: Look for a speaker button at the bottom of your screen
      • Other apps: Swipe down from top-right corner (or swipe up from bottom if your phone has a home button) to find Control Center, then tap the AirPlay button
      • Sometimes the AirPlay button hides in your music app – check the Now Playing screen!
    • Android users:
      • Spotify: Speaker button at the bottom (same as iPhone!)
      • Other apps: Look for the Cast button (looks like a little TV with WiFi waves) – usually top-right corner
      • Can’t find it? Try the three-dot menu or settings in your music app
    • Once you find it, pick a music streamer from the list!
  4. 4️⃣ Select the Right Input: Find the wall control panel in your area and press button 3 or 4 (depending on which music streamer you’re using)
  5. 5️⃣ Adjust Volume: Use the volume knob on the wall panel

🔊 Fun fact: You can’t control volume from your phone – this is on purpose! It stops accidental volume wars between competing DJs and ensures everyone gets consistent sound levels. Trust us, we’ve seen what happens when everyone has the remote… 😅

🔑 Important: Spotify Family Plan

⚠️ Critical: 360Q uses a Spotify Family Plan. Each device streaming to a WiiM must be logged into a DIFFERENT Spotify account within the family plan.

  • Won’t Work: Two devices logged into the same Spotify account
  • Will Work: Each device using a different family member account
  • 💡 Alternative: Use different music apps (one on Spotify, one on YouTube Music, etc.)
🎛️ Audio Zone Controls
